Hey again.
I’ve heard everyone’s voices from the previous post (as well as some comments from the chapters themselves) and decided to make somewhat of a comeback.
Thank you guys for your supportive and friendly comments.
I saw a few of you ready to throw hands at the haters, but rest assured, I haven’t gotten a single negative comment, email or any correspondence to date. You’re all pretty awesome.
Now to go into a bit more detail about my thoughts…
Regarding future releases:
This is probably what you’re all curious about. I used to pump out parts (around 1.5k-2k English words on average) virtually every other day and it quickly burnt me out. No amount of toxic yuri goodness could save me from losing my motivation. I proved to myself I could do it, but at what cost?
Anyway, for the time being, I’ve decided to try my hand at translating again. I’m going to do it at my own pace, which might look like one release per week or two. I don’t really have much to say beyond this.
A way to support me?
Something I saw many of you suggest was for me to open donations or a Patreon to help me with staying motivated. Last year (during the half of the year I was active), I was not open to receiving any donations, but I’ve decided to give it a try now.
I would like to stress that I will not and will never lock my releases behind a paywall.
What this means is I will not be offering any sort of membership or real benefits to donating. I realize this will make less people consider supporting me, but it is what it is, and it is not a line I am willing to cross.
I will be adding the link to donate to my Ko-fi account that I recently set up to the TL note section of part one and the most recent part for visibility, but nobody is ever under any obligation to donate to me.
I’m grateful to each and every one of you for reading my releases, and if anybody is willing to support me despite not receiving any real benefits from it, you have my thanks.

So glad to hear you’re back! As always make sure to put yourself first and don’t feel the need to pump out chapters faster than you can handle without burning out. I and many others don’t mind waiting a bit more anyway, especially considering the great work you’re doing at no cost for us. And above all, I just hope you’ll have fun with it again!

Glad you’re back!
“virtually every other day”
Yeah I think I see your problem. 🙂 If you averaged 1k words/day, you’d translate a 60k word novel in 2 months. That seems very intense for something that isn’t your job and that you’re trying to do a good translation of.
Reminds me of when I left my first job due to “burnout” and my boss pointed out that I’d taken 2 weeks vacation out of 6 over 2 years, and would I prefer to first try taking my other 4 weeks?

Yep. The first volume (from parts 1-34) ended up being translated in a little under two months. It was quite intense looking back on it, LOL.
